BEY TEAM OUROBOROS Blitz - Beyblade X @ CTC Games 26/1/25

This tournament will use a fast-paced new match type called Blitz! In Blitz, you use your normal deck of three beys, but each match is only three battles, the blader with the highest score at the end wins. This match type is short but intense, as each battle matters that match more and the opportunities to counter your opponent are limited.

Thank you to impulse for coming up with the idea for the match type.

Blitz Rules

- Build a deck of three beys with no repeating parts.
- Put your beys in order from first to third.
- Play three battles using your beys in order.
- The player with the most points at the end of the three battles wins the match.
- If the points are tied at the end of the match, a tiebreaker battle is played using any bey from the players' decks.


There will be a tournament for kids 12 and under run at the same time as the main tournament. This is optional and kids may still join the main tournament if they wish. Sign up and find the alternate ruleset here.

Tournament starts at 12:30PM, late arrivals will not be able to compete.

Entry is $5 for those competing.

The tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't
commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play
for fun instead!

There will be areas for casual play, for while you're waiting your
turn in the tournament, or if you're not interested in competitive play.

I will be lending out some beyblades for those without, or those with
a very limited selection. But you are encouraged to buy your own - buyer's guide here.

If your young children are attending, I cannot be responsible for
their safety, please ensure that they are accompanied by a guardian if
they cannot take care of themselves.

Match type: Blitz, First to 7
Tournament type: Group Round Robin. Double elimination finals bracket.
Clauses: Out-of-Bounds ruled as Over Finish. Instant KO/snipe ruled as null match. Full points for self-KO.
