Starter-Stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Smashville
Counterpick-Stages: Lylat Cruise, Dream Land 64,Town & City, Omega Stages

Additional Rules:

Dave’s Stupid Rule: A stage that a player has most recently won on cannot be counter picked by the same player unless both players agree.

Sudden Death: If a match reaches time out, the winner is decided by highest stock then lowest %. If the % is the same for both players, the players will fight a 1-stock, 3 minute match.
Stages that are not on the list are NOT allowed to be played and. Doing so will result in disqualification.

Match step

First Game:
1. Starter Character Selection:
2. • Each player will select their character without advertising their choice to the opponent (“blind pick”).
3. Starter Stage Selection:
4. • Players will play a Best of 1 series of Rock Paper Scissors. The winner of that series will be called P1 and the loser P2 from this point on.
5. • P1 chooses to strike or select the stage. Once decided, one stage is striked. Finally, the second player decides which stage will be picked for the first game.

Remaining Games:
1. Counterpick Character Selection:
2. •The winner of the previous game must announce first which character they will use for the next game, followed by the loser.
3. Counterpick Stage Selection:
4. •The winner of the previous game may ban up to 1 stage from the whole list. There are no bans in Bo5 sets.
5. •The loser will pick the next stage from the remaining options, and announce it to the opponent.
6. Repeat Steps 3. through 4. as necessary.
7. Players report the results of the match to the TO or Pool leader.
