HSC Hyperbolic Ranking Bout Hyperbolic Ranking Bout (July 2022)

For the Discord Ranking: The Hyperbolic Ranking Bout is similar to a Ladder system where players can ask any others to play matches. The second month (July 2022) is also trial period, so the rules will be very simple for now.
A Player will join the month's leaderboard and be subjected to the rules once they either react to the post below or let me know to give you the role of Ranked Warrior. All players start with 100 points. You can challenge any player. There is currently no penalty for not accepting any specific player's challenge. After joining the leaderboard, there will be a 10 point penalty for being "inactive", which is defined by not playing a match within a span of 10 days (If your last match was Monday of last week, then you have to play a match before Friday of the current week).

The Points system is based on a Base 10 point system, with points gain and loss adjusted for the point difference between players (not their rank difference). The Maximum you can gain or lose is 20 points; The Minimum is 1. If the two players are within 10 points of each other (0-9 pts difference), the winner gets 10 points and the loser loses 10 points. If the players have a point difference between 10 and 19 inclusive, then the Lower Ranked player can either win 11 points or lose 9 points, while the Higher Ranked player can either win 9 points or lose 11 points. The Tiers of points gain and loss is essentially the Tens digit in the points differential. In addition, there will be a penalty for playing against the same opponent to farm them. If the Winner of a Set plays against the same opponent again within the same day, the potential points for the Winner are halved. If the Loser wins in the rematch, then they will be awarded the full amount of points (Usually more than what they lost).
Alongside this, I will be running a Braacket.com league to test how the leaderboards differ.

The sets will be played with Middle TN's standard tournament ruleset in a Best of 5 set.
