Info
The Circle of Death tournament is renowned in the world of professional wrestling for its grueling format, featuring intense competition among top wrestlers in the fight game. It is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and challenging tournaments in the world, known for showcasing exceptional athleticism and drama.
20 of the top performing athletes from across the industry are handpicked to participate in the tournament each year.
The participants are divided into two blocks of 10 wrestlers each, typically called the Gold league and the Blue league.
The Circle of Death follows a round-robin format, meaning each wrestler competes against every other wrestler in their league.
Wrestlers earn points for wins, draws, and losses. A win typically earns three points, a draw one point, and a loss zero points.
The wrestler with the most points in each league advances to the final.
If two wrestlers are tied on points, the one who won their head-to-head match during the tournament advances.
If there is no clear head-to-head winner, the wrestler with the shortest match time in their wins advances.
The winners of the Gold league and the Blue league face each other in the final match of the tournament.
The wrestler who wins the final match is declared the Circle of Death winner and earns a shot at the VFC World Championship at Best of the Best, VFC's biggest event of the year.
