			The official UMass Dartmouth Smash Bros Melee League!
- All games will be played with 4 stocks, 8 minutes
- Items are turned off
- Sets are best 2 out of 3, except Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals, which are best 3 out of 5.
- If the timer runs out during a match, the player with the most stocks is victorious. If both players have the same amount of stocks, the player with the lower percentage wins. If the percentage is the same, players will play each other again in a tiebreaker (1 stock match with a 3 minute timer, same characters and stage)

1. Pick Characters
2. Stage Striking
- Rock, Paper, Scissors (RPS) for first strike
- The winner of RPS strikes 1 stage from the Starter list. The loser of RPS then strikes 2 more stages from the Starter List. The Winner of RPS then chooses from the remaining two stages.
3. First game is played (Every game after the first will follow steps 4-6)
4. Stage Striking
- The winner of the previous game bans 1 stage from the Full stage list.
- The loser of the previous game then chooses the stage from the remaining stages*
- *Stage Clause: A player may not pick any stage that they have previously won on during the set.
5. Character selection
- Winner chooses their character first, then the loser picks their character.
6. Next game is played
