Contested by 16 NeuronBots across a total of 11 individual Events.
The Events are Challenges (6x), Masters (3x), Elite League (1x) and Redemption League (1x).
Each Season consists of all 11 Events held in the following order:

Spring Challenge #1
Spring Challenge #2
Spring Challenge #3
Spring Masters (Masters #1)
Summer Challenge #1
Summer Challenge #2
Summer Challenge #3
Summer Masters (Masters #2)
Autumn Redemption League
Autumn Elite League
Autumn Masters (Masters #3)

The Challenge Events are Two Stage tournaments. The first Stage is the Group Stage, which sees all sixteen (16) Competitors get randomly drawn into four (4) Groups of four (4). The Competitors then face each other in Single Round Robin manner, meaning that each Group will feature a total of six (6) Matches for a total of twenty four (24) Matches in the Group Stage, with three (3) Matches per Competitor. As that concludes, the top two (2) from each Group will advance to the second Stage, the Bracket Stage. The total of eight (8) Competitors contesting this Stage are randomly drawn into a Single Elimination Bracket. This means that there will be a total of seven (7) Matches: four (4) Quarterfinal Matches, two (2) Semifinal Matches and one (1) Final Match.

The Masters Events are One Stage tournaments featuring all Sixteen (16) Competitors. The only Stage sees the Competitors drawn via Ranking Seeding into a Single Elimination Bracket. This means that there will be a total of fifteen (15) Matches: eight (8) Round of 16 Matches, four (4) Quarterfinal Matches, two (2) Semifinal Matches and one (1) Final Match.

The League Events are One Stage tournaments, each of the two featuring eight (8) qualified Competitors. The Elite League Event is contested by the top eight (8) Competitors from the Rankings as of the finalization of the Summer Masters. Conversely, the Redemption League Event is contested by the bottom eight (8) Competitors from the Rankings as of the finalization of the Summer Masters. Both of the Events see their respective Competitors face each other in Single Round Robin manner, meaning that each League will feature a total of twenty eight (28) Matches, with seven (7) Matches per Competitor.

Each Match in the Challenge and League Events are three (3) Round affairs. A Match ends when all three Rounds are finished or when a Knockout occurs. As such, a Match either ends via Judge Decision or Knockout. A Match that ends in Judge Decision can be scored as 2-1 or 3-0, while a Match that ends in Knockout is automatically scored as 4-0.

Each Match in the Masters Events are five (5) Round affairs. A Match ends when all five Rounds are finished or when a Knockout occurs. As such, a Match either ends via Judge Decision or Knockout. A Match that ends in Judge Decision can be scored as 3-2, 4-1 or 5-0, while a Match that ends in Knockout is automatically scored as 6-0.

Each Match of every Event contributes to the Rankings, which are primarily used to determine the Seeding of the Masters Events. In addition, as of the conclusion of the Autumn Masters, the bottom three (3) in the Rankings are formally Relegated from the NBCT.
To replace them and keep the amount of Competitors at 16 for the following Season, there is a special Promotion Event at the end of the Year (in Winter). A total of sixteen (16) prospective would-be Competitors from outside of the NBCT are randomly drawn into a Single Elimination Bracket. This Event does feature a Third Place Match, with the resulting top three (3) Competitors of the tournament formally getting Promoted, meaning qualified to compete in the following NBCT Season.
