Info
- $10 entry fee (Venmo @elisa-dolan)
- 50% of proceeds will go to winner; 50% of proceeds will be sent as a donation to a small business of the winner’s choice

-In each head to head matchup—entries will choose a “winner”—taking into jammability, personal preference, and societal importance among any other factors participants deem important in answering “which song is the better Taylor Swift song?”.

-A celebrity guest judge (may or may not reach out to a TS fan account…) will create the “perfect” bracket, which all entries will be based against.

-The entry with the most points at the end of the tournament will be the winner. Similar to March Madness Format, the point system will be as followers:
1 point for each correct predicted winner in the Round of 64
o 2 points for each correctly predicted winner in the Round of 32
o 4 points for each correctly predicted winner in the Round of 16
o 8 points for each correctly predicted winner in the Round of 8
o 16 point for each correctly predicted winner in the Final Four
o 32 points for correctly predicting the Champion
• In the event of a tie—tiebreakers will be applied in the following order (and as decided by guest judge):
o Best Taylor Swift Cat
o Best Taylor Swift Opening Act
o Best Taylor Swift Ex-Boyfriend
• Seeding was done by the Selection Committee consisting solely of Twitter user Tom Ziller (no idea who he is but he has a check mark)—thanks Tom! And provided by one of TS’s most faithful Pat Vasturia—thanks Pat!
• However, like any March Madness there is plenty of controversy prior to any of the action. Fans are outraged at the tournament’s snub of Better than Revenge. And I hesitate to even bring up the Committee’s low 6 seeding of blue-chip powerhouse All Too Well in an already weak South Division. I’m happy for I Knew You Were Trouble and I’m gonna let it finish, but All Too Well is one of the greatest TS songs of all time. I’m not the judge though, so that doesn’t mean anything.
• Daily recaps will be provided about the day’s action—what matchups were nail bitters? Who are the Cinderella stories? What matchups did the fans (judge) not really even care for? Will we see a legacy program on the podium once again, or will a more recent powerhouse ultimately succeed? A lot of questions, in which time will tell.
