The Melty Bowl Season Will Unfold As Follows:
-At the beginning of each week you will receive your matchups and if you will be one of the weekend streamed games (days will be determined week of as to not conflict with upcoming events and to ensure players can attend). The season will be 8 weeks long, 2 games will be assigned per week.
-If you are not set for a streamed game it will be your responsibility to coordinate with your weekly opponents to play a first to 5 set and submit the replay files to MeltyBowlVODs@gmail.com. VODs will be streamed and commentated on before the live games of that week.
-Please submit replay files to the above email address alongside the names of both players and the final score of the set. If you prefer, you can also record the set in whatever software you prefer, just please make sure to mute all outside music/mic noise.
-Points system will be +1 for each game won in a set and an extra +3 for winning the set. Top 8 point scorers at end of season will be placed in a bracket, seeded in the order of season finish. Tiebreakers will be settled by head-to-head match results.
-Prizes will be distributed for top 3 finishers as follows:
1st: $150
2nd: $50
3rd: Custom T-Shirt designed by Swamp with your input
-The season will be restricted to US players to limit connection issues, wired connection is also required. Poor connection in a given matchup will be assessed at the request of affected players.
-Winner of the series will be banned from future seasons until a later date where they will be invited to a Winners bracket.
